Enzyme activity profiles

Determining specific enzyme activities and activity profiles allows us to assess the effectiveness of enzyme products.

We identify the conditions (e.g., pH or temperature) under which enzymes are most active and test their stability in individual formulations.

Our focus is on the class of hydrolases, which break down long-chain molecules into smaller fragments through hydrolytic cleavage.

Enzyme activity determinationin complex matrices

Enzyme activity must also be reliably detected in complex matrices such as feed mixtures or dietary supplements.

This poses an analytical challenge, as colored, cloudy, or viscous media—as well as inhibitors, endogenous enzyme activities, and low dosages—can make accurate measurement difficult.

Reliable detection in such matrices requires optimized protocols and careful, standardized sample preparation.

Method development

Analytical methods for detecting enzyme activities and effects must meet high standards for accuracy, reproducibility, applicability, and throughput.

We use our expertise and technical capabilities not only to ensure our methods meet these standards, but also to continuously expand our range of analytical techniques.
