In a practice-oriented research project, the effect of enzyme preparations was tested in an agricultural biogas plant.
\nThe substrate mixture used there consists of around 50 % farm manure (cattle slurry and manure) and the other half of NawaRo (maize silage, fodder roe\/GPS and grass silage), a mixture that is common in many biogas plants today. <\/p>\n
When assessing the effectiveness of enzymes, statements have so far been based mainly on test series under laboratory conditions or on personal experience reports from plant operators.
\nThis made the results vulnerable in many ways.
\nIn the scientifically supported practical project, it has now been conclusively proven that the performance of biogas plants can be significantly increased with enzyme preparations.
\nThe BIOPRACT products UltraPract PG and ViscoPract CP were used.
\nAs a result, not only was methane production increased, but viscosity was also improved and the degradation of protein-containing substrates accelerated. <\/p>\n
The technical article on the study will appeal to every plant operator who runs a biogas plant, is interested in sustainable energy production or is responsible for the future of biogas production.
