Biotechnological expertise for enzyme application and
enzyme analysis in agriculture and industry

Since 1992, Biopract’s corporate strategy has focused on the development, application and analysis of technical enzyme products.

As early as 1996, Biopract took over the worldwide customer service analysis for feed enzymes and later also for enzymes in human nutrition from DSM-Firmenich.
Today, we analyze enzyme activities in over 15,000 individual samples annually using more than 30 different methods.

Highly developed laboratory infrastructure

Our many years of experience and specially adapted laboratory infrastructure enable us to provide precise and differentiated processing at the highest scientific level.
In Berlin Adlershof, we use our proximity to leading scientific institutions for intensive collaboration and innovation. As a research and development-oriented company, we attach great importance to cooperation and exchange with scientific institutions in Germany and abroad, as well as in the immediate vicinity.
The company’s location in Berlin Adlershof on Berlin’s largest R & D campus offers excellent conditions for this.

Pioneering work in biogas research

In 2001, our scientists recognized the great potential of enzymes in anaerobic fermentation, especially for increasing the performance of biogas processes.

Our research has resulted in several product series that facilitate the use of biomasses that are difficult to ferment and increase the efficiency of biogas plants.

Unique knowledge and assured quality

Today, Biopract has unique knowledge in the application of enzymes in anaerobic fermentation processes.
Our laboratory and production are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Innovative products and technology leadership

With the market launch of the UltraPract product series in 2017, we founded the sales company Biopract ABT, which specializes in the needs of biogas plants.
Biopract ABT offers efficient products and laboratory-based advice and has been a member of the Biogas Association since its foundation.

Summarized

Biopract has been setting standards in the development, application and analytical detection of enzymes for agriculture and industry for over 30 years.
With innovative products and outstanding analytics, we make significant contributions to quality assurance in food and animal feed production, as well as to increasing the efficiency and profitability of biogas plants.
