The key to economic efficiency

“The key to profitability” – this is the headline of the article in issue 5.2017 of JOULE.
It begins with the statement that the costs of optimizing the biogas process must always be compared with the benefits.

And the use of enzyme-based process accelerators is a good choice here.
A measurable improvement in substrate utilization was already achieved with first-generation enzymes.
With UltraPract P2, the second-generation enzyme product, this good result could be considerably improved again.
The JOULE article describes in detail a practical trial in a biogas plant (nominal output 1,200 kW).
UltraPract P2 improved the efficiency of the test plant by 11%.
Thanks to a calculation model developed by Biopract, the optimization potential of biogas plants of other designs, different operating modes and different substrate inputs can also be evaluated when using UltraPract P2.
