Our latest research collaboration: STROHase

We are pleased to start an exciting new research project together with the DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnützige GmbH and the Internationale Forschungsgemeinschaft Futtermitteltechnik e.V.. Our aim is to develop a process that uses enzymatic and mechanical pre-treatment to convert straw and fermentation residues into an energy-rich, highly usable substrate for biogas production.

Which enzyme activities are best suited to optimize the utilization and preservation of this substrate?
We want to research and answer this question in a top-class team.
