Certified quality from research to application
Biopract GmbH has successfully completed the audit procedure for re-certification in accordance with ISO 9001. The standard is the most widely used and recognized certification in quality management (QM) both nationally and internationally.
The Magnusstrasse and Alexander-Meißner-Strasse sites in Berlin were certified separately for the first time. Magnusstrasse is home to the research, development and service center for the use of biotechnological products in bioenergy production and agriculture. At the second site, the biotechnological BIOPRACT products for bioenergy production and agriculture are manufactured, packaged and dispatched. The entire production process has now been put to the test by experts. The company organization of Biopract GmbH was subjected to an audit lasting several days at all levels. This includes, for example, clearly defined organizational structures and responsibilities as well as internal and external corporate communication. The aim is the precise coordination of all key processes, the sustainable optimization of efficiency and profitability as well as the identification and elimination of sources of error and safety risks. At the end of the process, the quality requirements were confirmed in accordance with ISO 9001. “With this certification, we guarantee our customers a demonstrably high quality standard for the entire chain of operational processes – from research and development to the delivery of our products,” explains Dr. Matthias Gerhardt, Managing Director of BIOPRACT. “This also means high efficiency, increased productivity through continuous improvement of processes and a low error rate – factors that primarily benefit our customers.” The certification guarantees sustainable quality from an independent body.
